Minneapolis Vikings starter Rin Sakai was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Alaska Kodiaks, 5-0. In 6.2 innings, Sakai surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed no runs.

In the top of the seventh, Ryan McCray stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Kodiaks were trailing 3-0, but had the bases loaded. That's when Manny Medina made a terrific pitch and McCray struck out. Gone was the dream of a Alaska comeback.
