The Seattle Arrows and San Diego Destroyers needed extra innings at Seaward Stadium to determine a winner.

The Seattle Arrows racked up a win at Seaward Stadium, bumping off the San Diego Destroyers, 5-3, in 11 innings. B.J. Terriquez, who started for Seattle, pitched effectively for his team. The 4th-place Arrows lifted their record to 76-82.

Seattle used the timely hitting of Brad Wallace to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Arrows on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"If I go out there and help the team win, that's all you can do," said Terriquez.
