The Miami Cyclones defeated the Boston Greens, 4-2, at Arrington Park today. Leading the charge for Miami was right fielder Ismael Allegranza. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Danny Chagolla got the win, improving to 7-19. He held the Greens to 2 runs on 3 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 6 and walking 5. Chris Crudge closed it out for his 16th save.
In the top of the sixth, the Cyclones grabbed the lead when Allegranza hit his 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Vismay Falcon made it 3-1, Miami.
Boston manager Matt Glazer said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
The Cyclones sit in 4th place in the Eastern Conference Albert Castillo Division with a record of 60-98.
