Glaciers Tack 6-2 Loss on Los Angeles
|
The Denver Glaciers locked up a win at Stars Ballpark, knocking off the Los Angeles Stars, 6-2. On the mound for Denver was right-hander Raul Garibaldi. He played a major role in the triumph. Denver now has a record of 82-75 with the win.
Denver used a clutch at-bat from Dennis Videaux to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Glaciers ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
Videaux called the win "a collective effort."
