Good production from first baseman Sung-hyo Kym helped the Washington Senators topple the Cincinnati Twins, 9-6. Kym went 2-3 with a double and 2 walks for the Senators. Washington starter Josh Breaux was credited with the win after throwing 80 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 11-13. The losses continue to add up for Cincinnati, having now dropped 8 straight.

Washington used a well-timed hit by Alex Tejeda to capture the win. The left fielder socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Senators ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 6 at-bats, it was important.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Tejeda.
