Hurler Matt Nyholm gave the Maine Lobster a solid start. The native of Unknown helped his team defeat the Toronto Juggernauts, 1-0, at Ballpark of Portland. Nyholm, the winner, moves to 3-5. He threw 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up 2 walks. Masato Nishihara earned the save for Maine, his 43rd.

Roberto Fondin did the little things right to help the team against the Juggernauts. In the bottom of the first inning, he reached on an error by the left fielder, driving in 1 run, putting Maine in front, 1-0.

"Felt great, felt really good," said Nyholm.

The third-place Lobster go to 76-82.
