Cyclones Knock Off Greens, 10-5
|
Miami right fielder Todd Kozuch had a 4-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Boston Greens, 10-5. Kozuch picked up 3 singles and 1 double in the ballgame. With the win, the Cyclones improved to 64-94.
Henry McAfee had a big run-scoring double for the Cyclones in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Miami leading 4-3 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from Orosmani Ottamendi, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2079 draft, and swatted a double to center. It was his 15th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cyclones ahead, 5-3.
"The credit goes to our offense," said Miami manager Chris Stephan.
