Juggernauts Loera Claims 250th Victory
|
It was a great day for Fisko Loera today at Arrington Park -- he picked up victory number 250 to join the great pitchers of the past in the exclusive 250 Club. The Toronto ace stopped the Boston Greens 4-1, yielding 6 hits and recording 10 strikeouts and no walks in his milestone game.
"250 wins puts you in some good company," Loera told reporters. "I'm honored to be there."
Through the years Loera has fashioned a 250-166 mark, 3.17 ERA and thrown 3753.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .228 lifetime against him and he has logged 4116 career strikeouts.
