Cincinnati Gets 13-Inning, 6-5 Win
The Cincinnati Twins withstood a good performance by New York shortstop Greg Wozniak to knock off New York, 6-5, in 13 innings. Wozniak was 2 for 4 with a triple and 3 walks. He scored 3 times. The win went to Cruz Vaquez in relief, making him now 4-1. Pete Obradovic took the loss for New York. The third-place Twins now sit at 75-82.

The decisive blow was delivered by Feng-xiang Xia in the bottom of the 13th when he hit a solo home run off 14-year veteran Pete Obradovic to win the game for Cincinnati. The home crowd went nuts.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Xia, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
