Toros Topple Vikings with Late Rally
The Minneapolis Vikings got a superb performance from pitcher Steve McFarlen, but the Tucson Toros still won the game, 5-4. McFarlen threw 6.0 innings allowing 3 runs. Tucson reliever Jose Zavala picked up the win, raising his record to 4-3. Phil Payne was tagged with the loss. Tucson has won 4 consecutive games.

Angel Martinez was the walk-off hero for Tucson. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Toros designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Martinez said.
