Daniel Taylor, who is tied for 5th in the EC with a 9.7 K/9 rate, was locked in. The right-hander led the Toronto Juggernauts to a 7-5 win against the Maine Lobster at Ballpark of Portland. Julio Soto earned the save, his 28th in 34 tries. The Juggernauts, at 79-78, sit in third place in the Eastern Conference Solano Antas Division.

Toronto used the hitting of Matt Salmon to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Juggernauts on top, 3-0. For the game, Salmon had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Daniel throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold.
