Despite the exploits of third baseman Vincent Horvers, the Philadelphia Spectres were beaten by the Toronto Juggernauts, 5-4, in 11 innings. Horvers was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The loss makes Philadelphia 68-88.

The Juggernauts got a clutch hit from designated hitter Cheng-qian Eng. In the bottom of the 11th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Juggernauts.

"This is a resilient bunch," said Toronto manager Marc Arnold.
