The Vikings grabbed a win, 4-2, at Minneapolis Grounds, overcoming a fine effort from Kansas City pitcher Marco Moya. Moya went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. The Vikings, at 90-66, sit in second place in the Western Conference Mike Stump Division.

Minneapolis took a 4-2 lead on Gil Dugue's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Dugue hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Kansas City pitcher Mark Curry visibly frustrated.

Dugue attributed the win to his team's "concerted effort."
