Kubina, Arrows Too Much for Toros

The Seattle Arrows earned a close win over the Tucson Toros, thanks in part to Mark Kubina. The Seattle right-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The setback makes Tucson 65-90.
Seattle took a 3-0 lead on Jose Yanez's 20th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Yanez hit in the top of the eighth, left Tucson pitcher Giichiro Mishima visibly frustrated.
"Mark was throwing with conviction," said Seattle manager Dr. Jay Siber.
