The Havana Metropolitanos beat the Philadelphia Spectres, 5-3, at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Havana center fielder Casey Marko had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. With the win, Havana improves its record to 5-1.

With Havana trailing 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Marko hit a sinker from Jimmy Biair for a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Metropolitanos ahead, 3-2.

"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Metropolitanos manager Kevin Mayerhofer.
