Greens Lose to Avispas, 4-1

The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of Santiago fans at Estadio Guillermón Moncada.
Volk Miller, who is tied for 2nd in the EC in complete games with 2, imposed his will on the Greens from the get-go. Relying mainly on his changeup, the left-hander spearheaded the 4-1 Santiago triumph. The Greens, at 67-87, have lost 5 in a row.
Mike Leslie helped out the Santiago cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the second baseman went 2-4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
Said losing manager Matt Glazer: "Obviously, we wished for a better outcome."
