Aces Squeeze By Maine, 4-3
|
The Las Vegas Aces defeated the Maine Lobster, 4-3, in 16 innings in Western Conference action at Western Coliseum. Las Vegas pitcher Aaron Hendsbee had a standout performance. The win was credited to 29-year old right-handed pitcher Hemmu Chacha in relief. His record improves to 3-0. Josuke Eto took the loss. Las Vegas is now 87-67, while Maine is 77-76.
The decisive blow was delivered by Ian Paszek in the bottom of the 16th when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Josuke Eto to win the game for Las Vegas. The home crowd went nuts.
"Aaron is good at sticking to his strengths," said Las Vegas manager Justin Coroian.
