The San Diego Destroyers had to overcome a fine effort from Seattle pitcher Aaron Lee to win, 5-4, at Seaward Stadium. Lee went 7 innings and allowed 4 runs. San Diego reliever Joe Drum was credited with the win. His record goes to 4-5. Aaron Narduzzi took the loss for Seattle. San Diego bumps their record to 83-71 with the win.

Tony de Jesus helped out the San Diego cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 3.
