Senators Turn Away Kings, 5-4
The Washington Senators did just enough to sneak past the Baltimore Kings, 5-4, at The ESPN Zone. Washington pitcher Rajam Masrani, in particular, had a standout performance. The winning pitcher was Masrani, now 7-6. He tossed 7.2 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 10. Their 59-95 record puts the Senators last in the Eastern Conference Zounes Kamuzu Division.

The Senators benefited from an error in the bottom of the third inning. Washington was leading 3-0 when Justin Yount hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Washington in front, 5-0.

"That was a really good outing by Rajam," said Washington manager Josh Cooan.
