Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Portland Dragons and Denver Glaciers.

The Portland Dragons did just enough to nip the Denver Glaciers, 6-5, in 13 innings. Portland pitcher Cursive DeMarco, in particular, had a standout performance. The last-place Dragons have won 4 straight games.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Du Kau? The slick-fielding center fielder Kau stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 13th inning to put Portland up, 5-4. For the game, he was 2 for 5, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We had a chance to win," said Denver manager Todd Bleess, "but we didn't get it done."
