With Brian Snavley leading the charge, the Boston Greens defeated the Brooklyn Browns, 5-2. Snavley went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Greens. The third-place Greens are now 77-75, the Browns 77-75.
Early in the game, Snavley had a 3-run home run for Boston. It was his 31st home run of the season and put the Greens on top, 3-0.
"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Snavley.
