Portuondo Plays Big Role in Baltimore Win
|
The Baltimore Kings downed the Philadelphia Spectres, 3-0, at Sony Field at Philadelphia. Stellar pitching by Adrian Portuondo had a lot to do with it. The left-hander handcuffed his opponent all game. Andy Mejia got credit for the save for Baltimore. It was his 1st of the year. The win gives Baltimore a record of 3-3.
Adrian Portuondo was masterful. The left-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits over 8 innings.
"I didn't leave too many pitches out over the plate," said Portuondo.
