Angels Beat Arrows, 8-0
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the San Antonio Angels and Seattle Arrows.
San Antonio turned a good effort from starter Ron Trevathan into a win over the Seattle Arrows at Tesoro Stadium. The Angels won the game, 8-0. At 28-22, the Angels find themselves in third place in the Western Conference Nala Forcelledo Division.
The Angels got a big hit from center fielder David Espaillat. Facing Seattle pitcher J.P. McNealy in the bottom of the seventh, Espaillat pounded a 3-run home run to right. His 5th home run of the season put the Angels ahead, 8-0.
"It's so much easier when you throw good pitches," said Trevathan.
