Denver turned a fine outing from starter Ringo Pineiro into a victory over the Las Vegas Aces at Western Coliseum. The final score was 4-2 in 11 innings. The Glaciers improved their record to 31-18 by beating Las Vegas.

Denver used the timely hitting of Pete Delzeit to seize the win. The shortstop stroked a 2-run single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Glaciers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Delzeit attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."
