Twins Clonk Senators, 7-2
|
The Cincinnati Twins locked up a win at The ESPN Zone, knocking off the Washington Senators, 7-2. On the mound for Cincinnati was right-hander Jose Uresti. He played a major role in the triumph. With the loss, Washington is 4-2.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Eloy Laca? The Cincinnati catcher had a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Twins on top, 4-2. For the game, Laca had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"It feels good to get this one," Laca told the Cincinnati Observer.
