Angels Absorb 11-3 Loss at Stars Ballpark
The Los Angeles Stars put together a convincing win at Stars Ballpark, defeating the San Antonio Angels, 11-3. Eloy Laca was one of the hitting stars. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Los Angeles. Los Angeles reliever Gwang-soo Pae picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Hector Moreno was saddled with the loss. Los Angeles leads the Western Conference Manny Muro Division by 2½ games.

The Stars got a big at-bat from left fielder Bobby Badeaux. For the game, Badeaux went 1-4 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 8th double of the season gave Los Angeles a 4-3 lead.
