The Minneapolis Vikings knocked off the New York Titans, 7-4, at Minneapolis Grounds. Tony Pineda was a big reason Minneapolis won. The right fielder went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was Alex Mijangos. He's now 4-2. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits for the Vikings. With the win, Minneapolis pushed its record to 25-23.

Minneapolis took a 5-2 lead on Pineda's 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Luis Erazo in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Minneapolis to the win.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Pineda.
