Athletics Lose Again, 10-0, to Aces
Las Vegas picked up a win at Ballpark of Missouri, toppling the Kansas City Athletics, 10-0. Pitcher Carl Rodda was one of the reasons the Aces triumphed. Rodda, now 3-4, was the winner. In 7.2 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing no runs. The last-place Athletics have dropped 6 straight games.

"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Rodda told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
