The performance of Zero Skouzas proved critical in helping Baltimore beat Tucson, 7-6, in 10 innings. The Kings designated hitter was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Baltimore reliever Mark Sanderson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-3. Manny Carbonell took the loss. The third-place Kings hiked their record to 21-27.

The decisive blow was delivered by Shu-yaan Kuang in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Manny Carbonell to win the game for Baltimore. The home crowd went nuts.

"The crowd went wild," Kuang said.
