Buffalo third baseman Bejo Ananas picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Montreal Harfangs, 9-8, in 15 innings. Buffalo reliever Mike Brack picked up the win to move to 2-0. Frank Calderon suffered the loss. The Rangers, at 23-24, sit in second place in the Eastern Conference Solano Antas Division.

The Rangers got a clutch hit from first baseman Emilio Oregon. In the bottom of the 15th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rangers.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Ananas.
