San Francisco Sent Home with 7-3 Loss
|
The Portland Dragons stopped the San Francisco Friars, 7-3, behind an impressive performance from Gary Critch. The 25-year old second baseman made life miserable for San Francisco pitching. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Portland pitcher Ryan Mena got the win. He's now 1-0. Jose Alonzo was tagged with the loss. The loss makes San Francisco 21-27.
Wook-jin Lee drove in one run for Portland. The 27-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off O-min Che. It was his 15th RBI of the season.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Lee said after the game.
