The Tucson Toros beat the Cincinnati Twins, 6-5, in part because of shortstop Ron Jollymour. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Tucson pitcher Cody Sosnowski got the win. He's now 3-0. Ryan Surette was tagged with the loss. Tom Parmenter earned the save for Tucson.

Second Baseman Yosvany Bombus made an impact for Tucson, when he swatted a 2-run double off Ryan Surette in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Bombus went 1 for 3 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
