Arrows Clonk Vikings, 11-6
|
Powered by Tim Thaxton, the Seattle Arrows downed the Minneapolis Vikings, 11-6. Thaxton went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for the Arrows. The third-place Vikings have lost 4 consecutive games.
Seattle got a big at-bat from Holiday, Florida native Alex Valverde, who in the top of the second hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Arrows ahead, 7-0.
"Winning never gets dull," said Thaxton.
