Rangers Double Up Harfangs, 6-3
|
At Bison Stadium, the Montreal Harfangs and Buffalo Rangers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Buffalo Rangers trumped the Montreal Harfangs, 6-3, at Bison Stadium. Buffalo shortstop Josh Beauchesne was terrific. He went 1-2 with 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. Bobby Sanchez, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 0. Javy Regalado closed it out for Buffalo, earning his 1st save.
With Buffalo leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Beauchesne hit a run-scoring single off Montreal hurler Victor Pargas. It was the 21st hit of the season for Beauchesne and put his team ahead, 5-3.
"I like to lead by example," said Beauchesne. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."
