The Portland Dragons in 11 innings beat the San Francisco Friars, 4-1, at Portland Park. Starting pitcher Yandri Vido was a major factor, holding his opponents in check all game. Portland reliever Takuma Takahashi picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Joe Drum took the loss. The losses continue to mount for San Francisco, which has now dropped 6 in a row.

Portland won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With two outs and Roger Calzada on the mound for San Francisco, left fielder Yahya Kanoro hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Dragons fans to their feet.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said San Francisco manager Erich Weatherholt.
