Spectres Rally to Nose Past Montreal
|
The Philadelphia Spectres topped the Montreal Harfangs, 9-8, the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Alderaan Pike. On the day, Pike went 3-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Spectres. Rigoberto Pita picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Rafael Mendiola suffered the loss. At 15-28, the Spectres find themselves in last place in the Eastern Conference Solano Antas Division.
Lucas Pamatz was the walk-off hero for Philadelphia. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Spectres right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"The crowd was boisterous tonight," said Pamatz.
