Twins Take Home 4-2 Win Over Kansas City
|
Cincinnati Twins starter Bokkai Nikaido was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Kansas City Athletics, 4-2. Nikaido got the win, improving to 3-0. He gave up 3 hits and walked 4 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Avery Slade collected his 4th save.
Cincinnati took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Alex Sierra hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Twins.
"You come to the ballpark to do your job and that's what I did today," Sierra told the Cincinnati Observer.
The win hiked the Cincinnati record to 23-22.
