Titans Rally to Eke Out Win
|
In a low-scoring tilt between the New York Titans and the Cincinnati Twins, Luis Erazo, who is tied for 5th in the EC in quality starts with 19, was the difference-maker. The New York right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win in 10 innings. New York pitcher J.D. Haynes earned the win, hiking his record to 6-1. Antonio Ramires suffered the loss. New York has an impressive 104-47 record.
The decisive blow was delivered by Jimmy Keener in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Antonio Ramires to win the game for New York. The home crowd went nuts.
"Our guys refused to lose," said Keener.
