Vikings Grind Out 2-1 Win
The Minneapolis Vikings, behind a great outing from Hendi Cooper defeated the New York Titans, 2-1, at Polo Grounds II. Cooper, now 4-3, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Picking up his 13th save was fireballing right-hander Zee-loo Kim.

Bobby Aguinaga, who finished 2nd in the EC in triples with 11 in 2076, had a direct impact on the outcome. Aguinaga contributed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put Minneapolis up, 2-1.

"Tough loss," said New York manager Nate Beckman. "Tough one to swallow."

Minneapolis now has a record of 30-14 with the win.
