Eastick goes 3-for-5 in Wolves Win
Behind a fine performance from Nate Eastick, the Vancouver Wolves knocked off the Denver Glaciers, 12-7. Eastick was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Wolves. With the win over Denver, the Wolves improved to 17-27.

The Glaciers had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Wolves going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old center fielder Najib Tawfiq came to the plate. Tawfiq hit a bases-clearing double on a 0-1 fastball from Denver hurler Hatsuhiko Saruwatari. It was Tawfiq's 11th double of the year.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Eastick told the Vancouver Bulletin.
