The San Antonio Angels got a good effort from starter Ron Trevathan in defeating the Vancouver Wolves at Tesoro Stadium. The final score was 7-2. Trevathan, now 1-0, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 1 hit, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. San Antonio is now 4-1.

Sergio Folha had a big solo home run for the Angels in the bottom of the fourth inning. With San Antonio leading 2-1 and the bases empty, he sized up a fastball from former first round draft pick Junichiro Kitajima and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Angels on top, 3-1.

"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Folha. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
