Minneapolis Vikings starter Devon Jenkins pitched his team past the Cincinnati Twins, 5-1. The Vikings sit in third place in the Western Conference Brian Boots Division with a record of 21-22.

Sean Culhane had a big 2-run triple for the Vikings in the top of the second inning. With Minneapolis leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from 29-year old left-handed pitcher Juan Lajara and swatted a triple to center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Vikings ahead, 3-0.

"Devon pitched like a champ," said Minneapolis manager Ace Cooan.
