Late Rally Earns Tucson 4-2 Win
The Tucson Toros had to overcome a fine effort from Minneapolis pitcher Brian Burda to win, 4-2, at Minneapolis Grounds. Burda went 7 innings and allowed no runs. The victory makes Tucson 2-2.

Tucson used the timely hitting of Geri Rengifo to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Toros on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame remarks, Rengifo applauded his team's "business-like approach."
