The Seattle Arrows beat the Portland Dragons, 7-2, at Portland Park. Mark Chamblin, in particular, was impressive. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 4th-place Arrows are now 73-79, the Dragons 79-73.

Early in the game, Chamblin had a 2-run home run for Seattle. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Arrows on top, 2-0.

Chamblin attributed the win to his team's "hyper resolve."
