Brooklyn pitcher Kevin Bozek had a large part in his team subduing the Denver Glaciers, 7-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. After today's action, Brooklyn sits at 21-19; Denver slips to 21-19.

Eric Bickel had a big 2-run home run for the Browns in the top of the fourth inning. With Brooklyn leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Dryden Ice, who is tied for 2nd in the WC in quality starts with 6, and swatted a home run to left-center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Browns ahead, 3-0.

"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Todd Bleess.
