Destroyers Lose to Arrows in Walk-Off
The Seattle Arrows ushered in the 2080 season with a win versus the San Diego Destroyers at Power Ballpark. The final score was 6-5, Arrows, in 10 innings. Starting Pitcher Ricky Zika, who finished 5th in the WC in strikeouts with 220 in 2075, had a standout performance. Seattle reliever Chris Isaacks snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Julio Olivo shouldered the loss.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Seattle. That's when Matthew Allen hit a run-scoring double off three-time All-Star Julio Olivo to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Seattle manager Dr. Jay Siber.
