Harfangs Earn Late Win
The Montreal Harfangs defeated the Boston Greens, 6-5, in part because of right fielder Julio Morales. Morales went 1-2 with 3 walks, while scoring 2 for the Harfangs. Travis Morris, who is tied for 10th in the EC in saves with 11, picked up the win in relief. Naoto IIda took the loss for Boston. Jeff Umlah converted his 2nd save in 5 tries.

Montreal took advantage of an error in the top of the eighth inning. The game was tied, 5-5, when Ricky Rangel hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Harfangs in front, 6-5.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Morales, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."

The win elevated the Harfangs to 81-69.
