The Boston Greens picked up a win at Estadio Guillermón Moncada, taking down the Santiago Avispas, 7-1. Starting pitcher Steve McFarlen was a big reason why. McFarlen got the win, improving to 8-6. He allowed 6 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. McFarlen allowed 1 run. At 81-69, Boston is in third place in the Eastern Conference Max Badaloni Division.

Grant Gasiorek provided a timely hit. The Boston right fielder delivered a 2-run triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Greens on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

Gasiorek said afterward that he was glad to contribute to the win.
