Gaedels Roll Over Kings, 12-0

The St. Louis Gaedels handed the Baltimore Kings a sound defeat, 12-0, at AT&T Park. Tatsuma Matsuura was a main contributor to the win. He was 3 for 3 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for St. Louis. Brent Lannin, the winner, improved to 10-9. He held Baltimore to no runs on 4 hits over 6 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. St. Louis now sports a record of 79-71.
With St. Louis leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Matsuura hit a fastball from Jordan Oliva for a solo home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Gaedels ahead, 2-0.
"The Gaedels definitely had our number," said Baltimore manager Brad Carpenter.
