Toros Dealt 6-0 Loss by Vancouver
|
Behind a fine performance from John Woodward, the Vancouver Wolves knocked off the Tucson Toros, 6-0. Woodward went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Wolves. Vancouver has 3 straight wins, Tucson 3 straight losses.
With Vancouver leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Woodward hit a fastball from Tom Parmenter for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Wolves ahead, 4-0.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Woodward.
